The Luberon mountains are situated between the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department and the Vaucluse. It is part of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southern France. The Campsite Domaine des Chênes Blancs is close to touristic area as Mont-Ventoux and National Parc of Luberon.
It is an agricultural region, first of all due to its wine production, but tourisme is also a very important factor. The regional nature parc of the Luberon is a very appreciated and popular place to visit. You can find a large diversity of unusual plants and animals, idyllic valleys, rivers, woods and rocks. The natural and cultural patrimony is unique with the famous lavender fields, the ocher cliffs of the Provence Colorado and the wide, hilly landscapes.
The regional nature parc of the Luberon spreads on more than 185.000 ha and includes 85 villages. You can visit monuments that give you a good impression of the life and the traditions of this region. The parc is part of the UNESCO worldwide biosphere network.
